REIMBURSEMENT OF COSTS FOR PATIENT TRANSPORT
What transport costs will be paid for ?
Only domestic transport costs
- for transport to inpatient-departments of the nearest suitable hospital or back home from the hospital
- to the next doctor or medical facility contractually responsible for outpatient treatment and, from there, back home
- should the medical condition require it, for transport from one hospital to another and for physical adjustment of sanitary and auxiliary aids,
will be paid for by social insurance.
